For anyone wondering what the heck this series is about, I briefly discussed it in this blog post. The gist:
A zombie outbreak is only the start of the apocalypse. Follow several different people through America's South as they face death and destruction head-on. And just when they think there might be some semblance of hope, they discover they're wrong. Dead wrong. Because they're about to face an even greater enemy, one who hails from the sky--and a different galaxy.
It's basically The Walking Dead meets Falling Skies. I haven't worked out the final summary just yet (I'm waiting until I finalize season one), but you get the idea. Right now, there are anywhere between four and seven points-of-view. I plan on adding more in future seasons. Also, I only have three seasons planned, but that could increase to four or five (or more) in the near future. It just depends on the storyline. I don't want to stretch it too thin.
Anyway, there will be eight episodes in the first season. I plan on making the first two episodes perma-free, with the rest being available for $0.99. The bundle (all eight in one) will be $4.99.
Fair warning: aliens don't show up until the end. Season one mostly focuses on the characters, and how they interact with the zombies. I don't want anyone buying this and thinking, There aren't aliens in this! I got gypped!
Season two, however, will be INSANE. I can't wait. :)
