Just a little update...

If you follow me on Facebook, you will have already seen this mini update. But for everyone else, I wanted to fill you in.

 

I am currently working on Almost Dead. I'm about halfway finished, which is always a good thing. I can *sort of* see the light at the end of the tunnel. Having taken a break from writing for a bit after releasing Blood Moon, and then releasing the SM series in one book, I recently decided to dive back in. Plus, (and let's be honest here), my life is a little boring without my imagination living in fantasy worlds.

 

Since we're on the topic of Almost Dead, I might as well tell you I've decided to hire a professional editor. In the past, I've relied on beta readers; it's the cheaper, easier method of editing. But now, I want my books reaching their full potential. The downside to hiring an editor is that they are typically pretty busy, which means I may or may not have a later release date than I originally thought (it was the end of August). I will continue to keep everyone updated regarding that. I also plan to hire professional book tour hosts this year rather than host my own. It'd just be easier on me, and I'd reach a lot more bloggers that I haven't worked with before. I can't wait. :)

 

As far as this blog is concerned, I will continue to post reviews, giveaways, and Summarize Sundays. Because I've been absorbed with my latest writing adventure, I haven't had as much time to read as I'd like. But that's changing soon. I will find time to read, so I can fill this blog full of awesome reviews and recommendations. ;)

 

Lastly, because I'm an artist at heart and can't help myself, I've created a beauty blog. I don't have the link listed anywhere just yet, because I'm still working out the kinks and don't have anything posted. But if anyone is interested in following that blog, you can click here to do so. When Almost Dead is finalized and thrown out into the world, I will more than likely be starting this second venture. I love makeup. I love beauty. I love homemade, crafty, DIY projects. Etc. Etc. Etc. You get the idea. I'm hoping this other blog will be made of awesomesauce. And I'm hoping I don't look too horrible on camera, because I've started a YouTube channel to go along with it. *crosses fingers*
