“What’s with all the mystery in Silver Moon?”
This is usually one of many questions, but it takes the overall lead. I’m going to do my best to address this issue for you guys (and I should probably start a FAQs section somewhere on my blog). Ready? ‘Kay. Here goes.
I want to leave you hanging. Yeah, I said it. I want you guys to finish the book and have more questions than you started with. I want you guys to continuously ask yourselves what the final result will be. I want you guys to think, producing endless scenarios in your mind of what will happen. But, most of all, I want to leave you guys with these inquiries so you’ll read Black Moon to find out what happens next.
I know this perturbs most people because, let’s face it, most people are impatient. Many of your questions, however, will be answered in the next book. I promise. :) For the sake of convenience, though, I’m going to address other commonly asked questions:
What’s with the “marked” thing? What does that even mean?
I’m happy to report that this is addressed in Chapter One of Black Moon. :)
I don’t understand the shadow man being linked to Ethan. How does that work?
Easy. Ethan was influenced by magic. Because the Conways use the dark art heavily, they had no problem concealing him.
What’s so special about Candra’s power? I mean, it doesn’t seem like she should be that important, not enough to cause all these problems with the Conways.
Candra will possess a power that’s identical to someone in the rival pack. This isn’t explained in Silver Moon, but it will become apparent in Black Moon, among many other revelations and secrets her family has kept from her.

They might, or might not, be more “enemy than friend” in BM. Can't really tell you that. ;)
