I did not reach my goals. Bad writer! But I have high hopes for this week...

ReplyDeleteMy good news is that I now have over 7,000 words on my new WIP(!) which I'm super-happy about! I don't know if I'm going to be setting a goal for this week, though. Other than the one I've written about, that is.

I reached my goals last week. I have another goal for this week but well I may get caught up with something else.. if you know what I mean!

ReplyDeleteThis Sunday, I figured out was missing, so I've spent the last few days - especially yesterday, adding what was needed. Now I'm polishing. Critiques, revisions, and submissions to follow!
ReplyDeleteI didn't make my goal of 20k by the end of the weekend. I did manage 17.5k. Not going to set a goal for this week as I have promised to beta-read, and will be working late everyday but today and Saturday. Life sure has an annoying ability to get in the way of forward progress.
ReplyDeleteTheresa - Sometimes I think editing is more fun than writing the first draft!
ReplyDeleteJason - 17.5k is great! I've been doing some beta reading too, which temporarily halted progress on my WIP.
Congrats on exceeding your goal! Good news from me... My co-author and I had a great talk about what we need to change as we start the second draft. :)

ReplyDeleteGood job Becca! keep it up :) I’m still writting each day on the Dr. Monroe story, writing general writing ideas down, reading the AWforums (thanks for pointing me in that direction) and though it is painfully slow, I’m still doing photo shop work.

ReplyDeleteAh, no goals. Not while spring semester is still in session. I plan on completing one novel over my summer break though, just as I completed one over my winter break. But I am def excited about my 2 WIPs
ReplyDeleteYay for conquering goals! My writing has been less than usual because of exams coming up, but I'm hoping during the small break between spring and summer classes, I can write a bunch!
