I hit over 5k yesterday on my WIP. I'm hoping I can keep at it and finish this book by May/June. Edits and all. Yeah, I know. Sounds crazy. But it's a goal. ;)
Anyway... This is chapter four. Yep, it's definitely one of the shortest chapters you've ever read. :D
I dream of growing fat from eating too much, and sleeping long after the sun’s rays burn through white-laced curtains.
I dream of the earth, how it used to be.
Most of all, I dream that one day everyone will be happy again, and the stars will stop falling.
This was beautiful. <3
ReplyDeleteAw. Shortest chapter ever but it made me so sad. I want to read the rest of this!
ReplyDeleteGood luck, you can finish it up by June!
Shortest chapter, yep. But still packing a lot of emotional punch, Becca
ReplyDeleteYep, that is the shortest chapter EVER...but great! I'm getting the idea this is dystopian? Am I way out in left field?

ReplyDeleteShort it certainly is, but it's also beautiful. I LOVE the last line!
ReplyDeleteAND....she's back full force! This is GOOD STUFF BEX!!! I love the falling stars concept. Usually people love shooting stars...nice twist. :D
